Class Gift

It's hard to believe we've graduated from ECCHS so many years ago. As I walk through those same halls today it's obvious that our alma mater is thriving, academically, athletically and spiritually. The students there today aren't much different than we were all those years ago. Unfortunately there are some things at ECCHS that haven't changed since we ran those same halls. Students today use the same desks, chairs, and podiums. They use the same restrooms. Above them are the same lights and ceiling tiles that hovered over us.

Unknown to me until recently is that ECCHS has a WISH LIST, a list of items that will help enhance the spiritual, educational and physical dimensions of the school. Included in this wish list are computers, paper, art supplies, student and teachers desks, podiums, new lighting for hallways and classrooms as well as ceiling tiles, new lockers for students and restrooms renovations. This list is constantly evolving.

Along with having our reunion this year we are also asking for donations for a CLASS GIFT so that we can enhance the appearance at our alma mater. Naturally the gift will depend on you, the more you give the more we can give back to ECCHS. It is my hope that each class having a reunion will consider donating a gift back to the school and being that this is only our "First Annual Class Gift Request" I hope you can dig in deep make a donation so that this will continue.

We hope to see you at the reunion, but if you can't be there please consider still making a donation. We need you. It is my hope that we can completely renovate a classroom with new desks lights and ceiling tiles. It is possible but only with your help. PLEASE GIVE.

Donations can be mailed to:

John and Julie Handwerger
1141 East Eschbach Rd.
St. Marys, PA 15857

Please make checks payable to: ECCHS

If you are attending the reunion, you can either mail back a separate check or leave one with us at the reunion. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle at the reunion to benefit the CLASS GIFT.

In order to insure your donation is applied toward our gift, separate checks for the reunion and class gift would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jeff Lecker
